Reduce your wait at the gate and purchase your tickets ahead of time. The Zoo is open year-round except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Zoo Hours
April 1 - November 3
9 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily
- Buildings will stay open until 6 p.m., with the exception of the Berniece Grewcock Butterfly and Insect Pavilion, which closes at 4 p.m., and the Lied Jungle. The lower level of the Lied Jungle closes at 3:30 p.m.; the upper level closes at 4 p.m.
Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is open year-round except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. During inclement weather, please call (402) 733-8401.
November 4 - March 31
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily. Buildings will stay open until 5 p.m.

Reciprocal Zoo Admission
Reciprocal admission visitors must bring proof of membership and ID upon arrival. Tickets are available in person at Guest Services or at Kiosk with assistance. Online tickets are not available. Click here to view the AZA Reciprocal Zoo Admission Program list.
We will follow our Household membership rules allowing 2 adults from the same household and up to 6 of their dependents.

Zoo Entrances
Main Entrance
Open 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Located off of 13th Street and Burt Murphy Avenue. Nearby exhibits to the entrance include the Desert Dome, Kingdoms of the Night, Scott Aquarium, and Lied Jungle.
North Entrance
Open 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Located near 13th Street and Bob Gibson Boulevard. Nearest exhibits to the entrance include the Bay Family Children's Adventure Trails, the Dick and Mary Holland Meadowlark Theater, and Glacier Bay Landing.
