Sip, stroll, and connect as you experience returning favorites like Zootique, a market featuring local creators, music bingo, and special appearances by Ambassador Animals. Each night also features a species spotlight, offering a closer look at conservation and the animals in our care.
This Thursday, August 13, is the final night of Kids Night Out! This optional add-on is for families looking to enjoy a night out while the little ones have their own adventure.

Late Nights at the Zoo event tickets do not include daytime general Zoo
admission.
This is an after-hours, adults-only event. All guests must be 21 or
older and must bring a current, valid ID to the event. No
exceptions made for any reason, including infants. Please drink
responsibly.
Event capacity is limited. To guarantee admission, purchase your ticket online
now! Last admission to this event is 9 p.m.
Complimentary drink ticket can be used for 1 alcoholic OR 2 non-alcoholic
beverages.
Additional drink tickets can be pre-purchased
online with your event admission or onsite at multiple kiosks throughout the
event area. Drink tickets are not valid for food truck purchases.
Late Nights at the Zoo admission tickets are nonrefundable, but can be moved to a new date in the event you are unable to attend. Please note, there may be limited availability as certain dates may sell out. Please contact Guest Services at (402) 733-8401 for assistance with the ticket transfer.

All guests receive one complimentary drink ticket with their event admission. This one complimentary drink ticket is attached to your entry wristband and must be redeemed the same date.
Drink tickets are $8 each. 1 drink ticket is valid for 1 alcoholic beverage OR 2 non-alcoholic beverages. Non-alcoholic beverages cannot be split between two transactions.
Buying Drink Tickets Online
Drink tickets cannot be purchased online without buying event admission. If buying admission, add your desired quantity of extra drink tickets to your cart.
When at the event, visit an outdoor ticket kiosk at the main entrance of the Zoo. Scan your emailed event ticket barcode.
The kiosk will print any drink tickets that you pre-purchased.

Get to know our Ambassador Animals in Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom Pavilion! These up-close encounters take place every Late Nights at 7:15 and 8:15 p.m.
From the start of your evening 'til dusk, take advantage of the smaller crowds at Giraffe Encounters! For just $5, get eye-to-eye with the Zoo's tallest residents by feeding them browse at Hawkins Giraffe Encounter.

Get eye-to-eye with the Zoo's tallest residents at Late Nights. Feed a reticulated giraffe a branch of browse for just $5 at Hawkins Giraffe Encounter. With cooler temperatures, smaller crowds, and a golden-hour backdrop, it's one of summer's most memorable Zoo experiences.

With Backstage Experience add-ons, you’ll go beyond the path and behind the scenes — from the depths of the Suzanne and Walter Scott Aquarium to the up-close world of the Cate Family Giraffe Herd Rooms — and see how care, connection, and conservation come to life. To provide a safer environment for the public, Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium enforces the following policies and procedures for after-hours events.
For the safety and convenience of all guests, Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium enforces a clear bag policy for events with age restrictions 21 years of age and older. The following items are permitted: clear, uncolored plastic tote bags, one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (such as Ziploc or similar), and small or clutch-sized opaque purses/wallets (no larger than 5 inches tall by 7 inches long).
All bags are subject to security screening. Only one bag is allowed per ticket holder. This policy continues to enhance the safety and experience for all guests.
If a guest arrives with an unapproved bag, they will be asked to either return it to their vehicle or dispose of it as they see fit. For safety and security reasons, Zoo staff are unable to hold or store bags on the premises. Unattended bags will be treated as a potential security threat and are likely to be disposed of.
Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium is happy to accommodate bags that are required for medical necessity. If you need to bring a medical bag, please reach out to security in advance or upon arrival so we can assist with a proper security screening. Each medical bag will need to be searched and tagged by security before entry. If you’re unsure whether your bag qualifies, we encourage you to contact us beforehand for clarification.
Security will check bags prior to entering an event for 21 years of age and older
and/or an event requiring clear bags. Lanes and tables will be set up with
signage designating where guests should go with bags. Lanes for guests without
bags will also be available.
Bag checks will include a quick and
efficient check for any prohibited items within the approved sized or clear bag.
If a prohibited item is found the guest may take it to their vehicle or dispose
of the item. Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium will not be responsible for
keeping prohibited items while the guest is at the event.
Events with adult age restrictions 21 years of age and older require security personnel to check guest birthdates by physical identification in the form of a state-issued driver license, U.S. passport card or book, military identification card, permanent resident card (I-551) or foreign passport. Birthdate must be present on the form along with picture. ID cannot be expired.
